• Knowledge cutoff: AI training data has a cutoff date. The law changes constantly — new statutes, regulations, and case law may not be reflected.
• Jurisdictional variability: Legal rules vary enormously by country, state, industry, and specific circumstances that the AI cannot fully account for.
• Context gaps: The AI analyzes document text only. It cannot consider your full business situation, prior negotiations, industry custom, oral agreements, or other legally relevant context.
• False negatives: Klause AI may fail to identify risks, especially in novel, complex, or ambiguous legal situations.
• Language limitations: Analysis quality is highest for English-language documents. Non-English documents may receive less accurate analysis.

Confidence scores shown in analysis output reflect the AI model's self-assessed certainty, not an objective measure of legal accuracy. Even findings rated 95% confidence should be verified for high-stakes decisions.

No Liability for Reliance

Klause AI expressly disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from reliance on AI-generated analysis without independent legal advice. This includes, without limitation, financial loss from signing a disadvantageous contract; employment consequences; regulatory penalties; legal disputes; or any other harm. Regulatory Status

Klause AI is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), Bar Standards Board, Financial Conduct Authority, or equivalent legal or financial services regulator in any jurisdiction. We are a technology platform providing informational AI analysis only.

In jurisdictions where providing legal services requires a license (which is virtually everywhere), Klause AI does not provide legal services within the meaning of those licensing requirements.
